What data we process and why

This website has no contact form or any other way to send us personal data directly through it. The website itself does not collect or store any data about you.

The website links to an e-mail address and a phone number (clicking only opens your e-mail or phone app). When you write to us or call, we process the data you give us (for example your name, e-mail or phone number and the content of your message) so we can reply and, where relevant, arrange cooperation. The legal basis is taking steps prior to a contract at your request, or our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry.

Booking a meeting through Calendly

The “Book a meeting” button redirects you to the external booking service Calendly (Calendly, LLC, USA). Nothing is sent to Calendly until you click the button. If you book a meeting there, you enter your name, e-mail and other details into Calendly, which processes them under its own privacy policy; we receive the meeting confirmation by e-mail.

How long

Messages arrive in the controller’s mailbox and we keep them for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any related discussion.

Processors

We run the website on infrastructure provided by Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (Luxembourg), which hosts and delivers the site (S3, CloudFront). Data is processed in the EU (Frankfurt region); when content is delivered via the CloudFront network, technical data (e.g. the IP address) may also be processed outside the EU under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. The website has no contact form, so processors such as Amazon SES or Cloudflare Turnstile do not apply.

Cookies

This website itself sets no cookies and does not use browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage). If you go to Calendly or another external site, those services may use their own cookies under their own policies.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format, and object to processing. Just write to michal@michalkourik.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
